Bergstrom Community Gardens:
Open for Business!

Our long-awaited garden allotments are now available. The vision of a place where neighbors from east central Austin can come together to grow, learn and share is nearing completion—just in time for spring planning and perhaps some late winter crops. With so much growth in high-density housing in our area, it’s nice to have your own patch of dirt.

Thanks go to Roberts Communities for providing the space and materials. AND a huge thank you to our volunteers who have designed the space, assembled the frames and moved more soil than you can imagine—a shovel-full at a time.

This is more than a garden. It’s a shared vision coming to life, where stewardship, sustainability, and  a love of fresh food connect us all. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting your hands dirty for the first time, this is a place for everyone – where experts can teach, beginners can learn, and all can grow.
