Bird Club

Village Farm is home to three geese and six ducks who bring daily joy and personality to the community. By day, they roam freely through the Green Gate Orchard. Club members share the care—feeding, guiding them into their pens at sunset, and keeping their swimming pool clean.

Each of them has their own distinct character. Goldie, our very first duck, seems to prefer the company of people over her feathered friends, while Karin and Pistachio are inseparable, almost always found side by side.

Volunteers are invited to help assist with day-to-day care of our ducks and geese. If you are interested in learning more, feel free to reach out to Dennis Behnke at 512-797-1242!
